On 4.25.2009 from 10a. to 4p. Tons of wonderful parts and bicycles to score. Spotted a full French track setup two years ago go for $250. Last year spotted a number of nice parts for silly prices, including 6 Gatorskins go for around $20. In fact, purchased all the components for my roadie for under $300 last year! Hit it!

Shit weather is over!! Come out and celebrate! Quarter mile sprints, distance skid comp, trick jam, and huge games of footdown with the finest in malt liquor for the winners. Sprints start shortly after 7, if you wanna race, get there before then to sign up. Bring some beers and some friends, its always better with an audience. See the flyer for directions, if you're confused, just get on Indian School from University and take it all the way down until it ends just west of Broadway. I wanna see at least this many people. Don't miss it!

To everyone who came out to Asscrack Grass Track. The race was a blast and larger heats made for some intense, close-quarters racing. Ken went in for the kill, cutting in on the turns to push people to the outside, or in Omar's case on a collision course with a light pole that ended in an epic bailout. Erica held it down for the ladies and her friend Cat was laying down some thick tread 10-speed style.

Capture the Flag provided pre- and post- race fun, utilizing the whole of Johnson Field as a sprinting ground and a requirement of serious strategery. Jeff showed his true colors as a jack rabbit in disguise on a final head to head sprint to return the bottle to base safely.

Hope to see more faces at the next Grass Track in a month. Be expecting a remixing of the same events. And beware the return of Sam P.s monster grass trackster.
